Masso’s Deli & Pizzeria, at 11 Lakeview Drive North in Gibbsboro, closed its pizzeria on Sunday, Aug. 21.
Its ice cream section will close on Sunday, Aug. 28.
There was an outpouring of support and goodbyes on Facebook.
Masso’s announced that it was shuttering on Facebook:
“We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for 40+ great years. We have officially decided to close our doors effective Sunday, August 21st (Pizzeria) and Sunday, August 28th (Ice Cream and Custard),” the Facebook post read. “We appreciate the support from all of you and the friendships made along the way.”
The post garnered more than 300 comments and 400 shares.
